College Advising

This LIVE ONLINE group course, created by the College Advising Teams at American Heritage Schools, offers students a supportive group setting with valuable tools and resources to guide them through the college admissions process.

The course includes a range of modules, such as Goal Exploration, The College Search, Resume Building, College Application Essays, Letters of Recommendation, Financial Aid, and Scholarships. Students will have the opportunity to explore these areas and work on key aspects as they prepare to complete their college applications.

Exploring Goals

Setting clear, achievable goals helps students stay organized and motivated throughout high school and beyond. By breaking larger goals into smaller steps and tracking progress, students can stay focused and make adjustments as needed to reach their objectives.

The College Search

The college search is about finding a school that aligns with a student’s academic interests, personal preferences, and financial needs. Students will research schools based on factors such as academics, campus life, location, and financial aid to ensure they find the best fit for their future.

Resume Building

A strong resume helps students showcase their skills, achievements, and experiences to both colleges and future employers. Students will focus on highlighting academic successes, extracurricular activities, volunteer work, and part-time jobs to create a well-rounded profile.
